Introducing  …the Propaganda Matrix

The world saw a smoldering Pentagon, with a hole in it, and they were told an aircraft hit it.  At face value it was easy to accept that, and most people just moved on with their lives.  However, a large percentage of Americans believe that the United States government is covering up events that occurred on 9/11.

The implications of 9/11 became so much more than people could have imagined.  It led to the never ending War on Terror, loss of civil liberties, massive deficits and corruption, and a military-industrial complex that is out of control.

Americans were told that the attacks of 9/11 were the end… the end result of years of unexpressed pent-up Muslim anti-American sentiment.  But was this really what happened?  Or, was 9/11 the beginning …

Could this WAR have been perpetrated by an entirely different cast and crew — other than those of whom we were told?

What is — ”the big Lie”…?

I would like to introduce you to “the big Lie” — a propaganda technique first created by Adolf Hitler.  His theory was of telling a lie so “colossal” that no one would believe someone could have the audasity “to distort the truth so infamously”.

Hitler wrote in his 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf:

…the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie … the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. …[i]

Hitler and many other world leaders have used “the big Lie” repeatedly in order to manipulate people to do their bidding.

You are inside a propaganda matrix!

The “news” that Americans see on the popular news broadcasts channels, whether it’s CNN, MSNBC, or FOX News, is all carefully filtered.  Producers and editors determine what the viewer should see or not see.  For many years, newscasts have been carefully contrived and scripted — they are not impromptu events.  The producers use pre-screened telephone callers, selected audience members with staged questions, guest speakers with “talking points”, and so forth.  This is done to give the viewer a predictable impression — an expected reaction.  Attacking the emotions is one common tactic, to set off feelings — guilt, sorrow, jealousy and anger, which is an easy way to guide viewers and listeners. 
And if you change the channel, you will find the same “talking points”, images, guest speakers, etc. being utilized on other stations — the larger the event the more obvious it is.  One reason for such “similarity” is that these conglomerates have similar interests, and most likely their “interests” are not yours.  This is why they need to constantly twist the news events, so that you will perceive and react to these “stories”, in the manner that they hope.
In other words, watching the mainstream media, you are being “spoon-fed their news” — these important issues may have a bearing on election results, public outcry, or support for a war, for example.
In addition, there is so much being reported on that people just don’t know about — the mainstream media is purposefully keeping you in the dark.  Also, keep in mind that producing a “news show” that’s fair and balanced, and keeping you “well informed” is not part of their agenda.  For years, the likes of Bill Moyers, and other distinguished journalists have been exposing this “disconnect” of fair and accurate reporting from the nation’s popular media institutions.  The media have become willing accomplices to the government’s beckoning — few challenges are put to those in power.
Moyers emphasizes that “news stories” are only being reported on if a government official acknowledges that that indeed is what had happened.  This system is ripe for abuse, and is reminiscent of Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, but now it is happening here, in the United States!

All of this is, if you haven’t figured it out yet, propaganda.  And the aim of propaganda is to influence people’s opinions actively, rather than merely to communicate the facts about something. 

What separates propaganda from “normal” communication is in the subtle, often insidious way that the message attempts to shape opinion.

The Problem-Reaction-Solution (PRS) manipulation

David Icke introduced the term Problem-Reaction-Solution, also known as P-R-S.  It is a variation of the classic Machiavellian derived external-enemy strategy — used by the government for manipulating public opinion of its people. 

Problem-Reaction-Solution is defined as:

The strategy of creating a crisis (the problem), waiting for a call for action to resolve the crisis (the reaction), then taking action (the solution), supposedly in response, which actually furthers a hidden agenda, usually gaining power. 

This is often cited as:

The government creates or exploits a problem, blaming it on others

The people react by asking the government for help, willing to give up their rights.  The government offers the solution that was planned long before the crisis.[ii] [Emphasis added.]

The most powerful warfare tactic — Psy-Ops.

So what does all of this mean? “the big Lie”, propaganda, and “Problem-Reaction-Solution”… These are the tactics that for many years the U.S. government has been using on its own citizens.

Here is the Problem-Reaction-Solution model put in context with the complementary “big Lie”.

Let’s try an example, to see how this works…

The neoconservative establishment has a motive for controlling the Middle East — they aspire its strategic oil.  They know that the only way to achieve this goal is through an invasion, but the people won’t support an unfounded war.

Now for the P-R-S model to work well, they need to have a “big Lie”.  The USama Bin Laden-al-Qaeda box cutter hijackers legend, and “Saddam has WMDs” tale, will work well for their purposes.  Following the P-R-S plan, the neocons know that they will need to have a “Pearl Harbor effect” to rally the country and to follow them into oblivion.  The new “Pearl Harbor” will be the created “problem” in the P-R-S model.  However, the neocons, in order to create a catastrophic event, will need to have everything “lined up”, with the means to construct such a crisis, such as: funds, weapons, and willing leaders, like Bush and Cheney. 

When the “catastrophic and catalyzing” 9/11 event did occur, the people were outraged.  This outrage was the expected reaction (P-R-S) and it was spurred on by the media propaganda matrix — which was spinning the government’s “big Lie” 24/7.

The citizens demanded action to be taken against the evil USama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.  Most graciously, the perpetrators would present their preconceived plans for invading the Middle East — which Congress and American people openly embraced.

The “action” demanded by the people is the solution (P-R-S).  Once again, the perpetrators need the means to carry out the solution, which may, or may not, be the same as the “action” demanded by the public.  For example, the outraged public demanded Bush catch his ex-business partner (USama Bin Laden), but Bush instead sets out on his own agenda.  In other words, the “calling for action” may at times be an open ticket  to be easily abused.  The solution is a step toward the government objective. 

It is important to realize that as long as the propaganda-fed “big Lie” and the government objectives are still in place, the danger of another P-R-S cycles still exists.

It is important for Americans and the people of the world to realize — that on the evenings of 9/11 (WTC), 7/7 (London), or 3/11 (Madrid), we did not mark the end of an event… but the beginning.  Each of these events was a separate “Problem” in the Problem-Reaction-Solution model.  There would be a “Reaction” to which follows a “Solution”, then another “Problem” and on and on… the cycle never ends.  This is why it’s important to expose the treasonous Machiavellian tactics of these perpetrators … and a Presidency that is shrouded in secrecy.  We cannot merely move on, and forget about it, because it is an ongoing process…

Both Bush and Cheney have told Americans, that their “War for Terror” will be a continual war.
