The Hijackers
“Recruit spies inside terrorist organizations if you can’t recruit people with some kind of a violent past.”
— James Woolsey, former Head of CIA
A list of hijackers is assembled only hours after the attacks.
Incredibly, even before the hijackers could be counted and identified, the government made the unequivocal connection to Osama Bin Laden. There was a “buzz around the beltway”, as plans were being fostered and contemplated for a retaliation. Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, who already had plans to invade Iraq ready, insisted that Saddam Hussein was behind the 9/11 attacks. They claimed that he was backing al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden, therefore the U.S. needed to invade Iraq promptly.
Here is a report by CNN that quoted John Ashcroft on 13 Sept. 2001:
Law enforcement sources said the hijackers had ties to the Middle East and bin Laden. Investigators said, however, that the probe is complicated by the fact that the hijackers died with their victims. … “Between three and six individuals on each of the hijacked airplanes were involved,” Ashcroft, said. “We know that they were trained and technically proficient, that they were trained in the United States to fly…” [Emphasis added]
How did they know to blame 9/11 on Bin Laden, if they hadn’t identified any hijackers yet? On the same day, FBI Director Robert Mueller said:
…preliminary investigation indicated 18 hijackers were on the four planes — five on each of the two planes that crashed into the World Trade Center, and four each on the planes that crashed into the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.
One of the most glaring inconsistencies with the government fable is that the airline flight manifests that were released to the media never had any Middle Eastern names on them!
Was a list being trumped up? …
How did the FBI identify all 19 hijackers only three days after 9/11?
Only three days after 9/11, the FBI National Press Office released this statement (excerpt relating to only Flight 77):
For Immediate Release
September 14, 2001
FBI Announces List of 19 Hijackers
The following is a list of the nineteen (19) individuals who have been identified as hijackers aboard the four airliners that crashed on September 11, 2001, into the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon, and Stony Creek Township, Pennsylvania. Information listed for each hijacker differs, but may include date of birth, address provided, or visa status. This is the extent of the information available at this time.
The FBI requests that anyone who may have information about these individuals — even though they are presumed to be dead — ...

FBI gathered names and photos with exceptional speed

How were they able to do this so quickly? This suspicious behavior implicates that U.S. intelligence agencies knew well in advance who the hijackers were. It would have been impossible to ascertain these identities so quickly from the rubble of the collapsed WTC towers, Shanksville, or Pentagon crash sites.
According to CIA’s George Tenet’s testimony, “Some hijackers were identified by air crews and passengers who made phone calls from the hijacked planes,” he said. How were the passengers to know who they were? Did they wear nametags?
What happened when the FBI realized that none of their Flight 77 hijackers could fly?
On September 14 it was revealed by the FBI that there was another hijacker on Flight 77 — Hani Hanjour.[i] Two days later, it was reported that Hanjour’s name was not on the passenger manifest of Flight 77 because he may not have had a ticket.[ii] How was Hanjour able to board the plane if he didn’t have his name on the manifest or have a ticket? If Hanjour’s name wasn’t on the manifest and he didn’t have a ticket — how did the FBI know he was on the plane? Since no record what so ever existed that Hanjour had indeed boarded Flight 77!
Was Hanjour’s name added to the hijackers when it was realized that none of the original list of Flight 77 hijackers were pilots?
Videos of the supposed hijackers.
While in the airport, the hijackers are supposedly captured on video. The video images lack the standard time/date stamp and other camera identification info.

This is a Dulles Int’l Airport video image of a supposed hijacker
(Photo: nydaynews.com).
If the videos were really from flight 77, why would the time stamps be removed? Were the images from a different day? An interesting link to the puzzle may be President Bush’s brother, Marvin P. Bush — he was a principal in Securacom, a company that provided security for the Dulles International Airport and the World Trade Center.[iii]
Even the FBI says there is no evidence to link the above men to the 9/11 hijackings.
During an April 19 speech delivered to the Common wealth Club in San Francisco, FBI director Mueller flatly stated:
[The hijackers] “left no paper trail … In our investigation, we have not uncovered a single piece of paper — either here in the United States or in the treasure trove of information that has turned up in Afghanistan and elsewhere — that mentioned any aspect of the Sept. 11 plot. [iv]
Almost instantaneously after 9/11, the government had stated that there was firm evidence not only that these 19 Muslim men were agents of Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda “network” but also that they were indeed the individuals who hijacked the doomed flights on Sept. 11.
Los Angeles Times reporters found that while Law enforcement officials have been able to reconstruct the movements of the hijackers before the attacks — were all legal — except for a few speeding tickets. They have found no evidence of their actual plotting. The Times reporters acknowledge that Mueller’s comments “offer the FBI’s most comprehensive and detailed assessment to date of its investigation, remarkable as much for what investigators have not found as for what they have.” 139
We have been told that the group that planned and carried out the hijackings and subsequent attacks on the World Trade Towers and Pentagon, were highly trained experts (possibly by the CIA), with knowledge of how to forge IDs, fly airliners, “connections” to enter secure facilities, train at U.S. Military bases, and have knowledge on the highest levels of the U.S. defense system and how to exploit it.
But at the same time, we were told that these same hijackers spent the night before the attack getting drunk in “strip clubs”, spending a lot of money, making noise, and doing just about anything they could to attract attention. They used credit cards and public library computers to send emails using their alleged names, and decorated their apartments with absurdly obvious “props” such as a crop dusting manual, Korans, and other incriminating evidence to where the whole matter reads like a low budget movie.
Early government and media reports hyped supposed “findings” — letters and other documents — in the cars and personal belongings of the presumed hijackers, which “proved” that they were on a “mission for Allah.”
What is really stunning is how these patsies did everything they could to make sure everyone knew who they were pretending to be. They were most likely, just decoys to hide the real perpetrators. It was by no accident that these supposed hijackers were chosen for their Middle Eastern names and appearances, since the Muslim Arabs were to be blamed for the ensuing 9/11 atrocities. But the truth is, that practically all the hijackers were Saudi’s nationals — one of America’s strongest allies.
How do the hijackers get on the flights without getting on the flight manifests?
How can you buy a ticket and board a plane without getting entered on a flight manifest. All other passengers and crew are accounted for and were indeed on the manifest.
Their names were flashed around the world as suicide hijackers who carried out the attacks on America. But, how did they get on the planes if there was no record of them ever having tickets and being recorded as passengers? All passengers need to be accounted for on a flight manifest. It is standard procedure, and is used for critical weight and balance information in order to program the flight, as well as, for the obvious legal reasons.
What about the guns, the knives, and the mace cans?
Paul Sperry of WorldNet Daily brought to light an internal Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) memo summarizing the Sept. 11 hijackings. It stated that a passenger aboard American Airlines Flight 11 was shot to death by a single bullet.
A flight attendant, who had contacted Suzanne Clark, an American Airlines employee, had clearly stated that someone had been shot and killed. She identified the passenger as Daniel Lewin of seat 10B and the person who shot him as Satam Al Suqami from seat 9B. She stated that the incident happened at 9:20 a.m. In these clear reports, there doesn’t appear to be much “wiggle room”.
However, the FAA claims the memo, time-stamped Sept. 11 at 5:30 p.m., was written in error. “It was a first draft,” said FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown. “There was no gun.”[v] How is the FAA to dispute the flight attendant’s claim? Were they also on the flight watching? Or was the phone call a hoax, and there really was no gun to begin with? Are we to understand Ms. Brown’s statement — as the memo (evidence) will get transformed as it progresses through drafts? Are important facts to be omitted that don’t support the official fib?
From phone transcripts of a conversation from Flight 11’s Betty Org:
The cockpit is not answering their phone. And there is somebody stabbed in business class … and they can’t breathe in business class or something. Somebody’s got Mace or something— 97
So we have knives that can stab, and obviously not, of the plastic variety, and a clear reference to mace. But then…
White House claims the hijackers used box cutters and plastic knives.
President Bush’s spokesman, Ari Fleischer, said in mid-May 2002 that the perpetrators of 911 “used box cutters and plastic knives”. But the baseless fib really got started by Donald Rumsfeld just after the attacks. He told Fox News on September 16th, “that the hijackers used weapons that are distinctively different — plastic knives.” On October 9th, he suggested to Dan Rather on CBS News “plastic knives and the use of a U.S. airliner filled with American people as a missile [were used] to destroy a World Trade Center.” In reality, there was absolutely no evidence of this.[vi] [vii] Not even the sham Barbara Olson call from Flight 77 mentioned anything about plastic knives?
Some speculate that one reason they had backed off from the guns and metal knives was that this shifted the responsibility, and therefore, the blame to the Airlines and airport security. If pressed from huge victim- lawsuits for damages from this overt security breach — they may not be the best allies to have — if you were in a conspiracy. Plastic knives, as ridiculous as it seems… could pass through scanners… guns couldn’t… Therefore no one would be to blame.
The big problem for the government was that in the first fable they created — a gun-toting terrorist had already shot a passenger. Afterward a flight attendant reported this to the airlines, and subsequently the FAA had documented it.
Even though, the laughable plastic knives theory is something only kindergarten kids would believe, the beltway media relentless rammed the lie home, day and night, until the image was in your head. It is an image of four scrawny Arabs, with white plastic knives or box cutters, herding 60 odd passengers and crew into the back of a plane. Didn’t Hitler say, the bigger the lie the better?
Visas were arraigned through a CIA consulate in Jeddah, Sandi Arabia.
Abdullah (Brigadier) Noman was a State Department employee, who organized the hijackers’ visas. He claimed that the U.S. office at Jeddah was among other things, a CIA consulate, that allowed or arraigned visas for at least fifteen of the supposed hijackers. The Las Vegas FBI arrested Norman in November 2001.[viii] Is he being framed for being a “whistle blower”? Is he the fall guy for the CIA?
Another former employee, Michael Springman, confirmed what was happening in interviews with Greg Palast of the BBC and at the National Press Office:
I used to be in charge of the Visa Section at the CIA’s consulate at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. … There, for a year and a half, I issued visas to terrorists recruited by the CIA and its asset, Osama Bin Laden.[ix] [Emphasis added]
In Saudi Arabia I was repeatedly ordered by high-level State Dept officials to issue visas to unqualified applicants. … I complained to the State Dept here, to the General Accounting Office, to the Bureau of Diplomatic Security and to the Inspector General’s office. I was met with silence.[x]
The State Department did not run the Consulate in Jeddah. The CIA did.144
What I was protesting was, in reality, an effort to bring recruits, rounded up by Osama Bin Laden, to the US for terrorist training by the CIA.145
Michael Springman goes on to explain how the process worked:
At the time I thought it was basically visa fraud. … I was ordered by these same high State Department officials to issue the visas, to shut up, to do my job and ask no questions...144
…there, in fact, was a CIA case officer assigned part-time to the Consular section. He would sit at the visa window with me sometimes. He’d say, “hey Mike, let me take this next guy in line, he’s one of my people, [‘bin Laden’s people’] I want to deal with him.”[xi]
The identities of the applicants had ubiquitous Arab tribal names, so common as to be almost untraceable by the Embassy. Since none of these identities previously had traveled to the United States, and were otherwise “clean,” they were not on any watch list.[xii]
A U.S. intelligence spokesman said: “There are lots of things that only the intelligence community knows and that no-one else ought to know.”146
Government insiders arraigned for U.S. ID’s
There appeared to be a ring of government-connected workers that aided the hijackers with obtaining MVA ID’s. Did they have some helping hands by the FBI or CIA? District employee Herbert Villalobos, was indicted for “unlawful production of identification documents.” for at least two of the 9/11 hijackers. Later, another suspect, Lopez-Flores was “charged with falsely signing an affidavit.” in regards to these identifications.[xiii]
On February 11th 2002, an important witness, Katherine Smith, an employee at the Department of Motor Vehicles, was suddenly killed “in a fiery car crash” the day before her first court appearance. The prosecutor called the crash; “most unusual and suspicious” She appeared to be burned to death in her car without the gas tank igniting. Those trying to assist her claimed that she didn’t move at all, alleging that she had been killed prior to the fire. Her death was ruled “Death by other means”.[xiv]
In the current Bush-era of “War on Terror”, it’s beginning to look more like this former Tennessee DMV employee was killed to cover up something.149
What was Directive 199I?
Did you ever wonder how high-level officials pass down incriminating covert itineraries to the “agents in the field”? Greg Palast, discovered and reported on the infamous 199I memo in March 2003:
…from less-than-happy FBI agents we obtained an interesting document, some 30
pages long, marked “SECRET.” I’ve reproduced a couple of pages here [See
Appendix: 199I]. Note the designation “199I” — that’s FBI-speak for “national
security matter.” According to insiders, FBI agents had wanted to check into
two members of the Bin Laden family, Abdullah and Omar, but were told to stay
away by superiors — until September 13, 2001. By then, Abdullah and Omar were
long gone from the United States.
…According to a top-level CIA operative who spoke with us on condition of
strictest anonymity. After Bush took office, he said, “there was a major policy
shift” at the National Security Agency. Investigators were ordered to “back
off” from any inquiries into Saudi Arabian financing of terror networks,
especially if they touched on Saudi royals and their retainers. That put the bin
Laden’s, a family worth a reported $12 billion and a virtual arm of the Saudi
royal household, off-limits for investigation. …[xv]
Therefore, even in the FBI’s “own words” — in their own documents, it pinpoints the fact that someone at the top of the Bush Administration put out the order to protect Saudi sponsored terrorism in the USA (see Appendix for 199I memo).
Some hijackers trained at U.S. military bases.
The hijackers trained at military air bases or CIA connected flying schools, like Huffmann Aviation and Pensacola Naval Air Station (NAS). Newsweek had reported that, “U.S. military sources have given the FBI information that suggests five of the alleged hijackers of the planes that were used in Tuesday’s terror attacks received training at secure U.S. military installations in the 1990s.” At Pensacola NAS, the hijackers appear to have had participated in the base’s flight training program for foreign military trainees. “The students are instructed in everything from warfare specialty training to air navigation meteorology and land/water survival”, Spokesman Paul Anderson said. Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity, which administers training of foreign aviation students for the Navy, is headquartered in Pensacola.[xvi] [xvii]
Three of them listed their address on driver licenses and car registrations as 10 Radford Blvd. at Pensacola NAS, a base road, which has residences for foreign-military flight trainees.152
The Newsweek article cites two other suspects with possible U.S. military training. One may have been trained in strategy and tactics at the prestigious Air War College in Montgomery, Ala., and one may have received language training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. A Washington Post article added an additional suspect who may have trained in Pensacola as well.151 152
The big question… Why is al-Qaeda operatives drawn to, and so easily enlisted into, many of the U.S.’s most secure facilities? Were they really al-Qaeda operatives? Yes, but it’s not the al-Qaeda that you have been told about.
Some hijackers lived near CIA headquarters.
In an amazing stroke of coincidence, two or three supposed hijackers had lived about “three blocks” away from CIA headquarter. Ahmed Alghamdi had his address identified at a “boarding house near CIA headquarters”, as well as, Waleed M. Alshehri, who was also reported to have lived in that same Vienna boarding house. And, for a brief while, Saled Alghamdi lived in Vienna, Virginia.[xviii] Why did they take this risk?
Was Hani Hanjour trained as a pilot?
In the six weeks before the attack, Hani Hanjour took flying lessons at Freeway Airport in Bowie, Md., where instructors interpreted that, “After three sessions in a single-engine plane, the school decided Hanjour was not ready to rent a plane [Cessna] by himself.” And before, while Hanjour was living in Phoenix, he reportedly took flight lessons at Cockpit Resource Management and Professional Pilot Training in nearby Scottsdale. Lotfi Raissi, who after Sept. 11 was jailed in Britain on U.S. suspicion of training terrorists.[xix]
However, a British court declared in May 2002, that Hanjour had never met Raissi and that Raissi never gave him any flight lessons. Raissi was found innocent. Raissi now is trying to file a lawsuit against the U.S. government — accusing them of framing him — he had spent 5 months in jail.[xx] It would appear, that there were several fabrications created to give the impression that Hani Hanjour had some experience flying. The truth seems to be — he really just couldn’t fly. Did the government invent the training time in Scottsdale, to make it believable that Hanjour could fly? So what happens to the government’s official story — now that the only pilot on Flight 77 who supposedly knew how to fly — couldn’t?
And if Hani Hanjour didn’t know how to fly, then who was the pilot of the Boeing 757? Amazingly, this huge story never appeared on U.S. National TV.
U.S. financed the hijacker operation through the “go between” Pakistani ISI.
Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar bin
Sultan responds to a question from CNN’s Larry King on how he met
Osama bin Laden.
This is ironic. In the mid-80’s, if you remember, we and the United States were supporting the Mujhadeen to liberate Afghanistan from the Soviets. He came to thank me for my efforts to bring the Americans, our friends…
Who hired and monitored the 19 hijackers to let this attack happen? The Pakistani ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) had ties to the Taliban and al-Qaeda. The ISI was used as an intermediary for funding the Afghanistan Mujahideen, which later formed into al-Qaeda, under CIA directions with Bush family friend and accomplice USama Bin Laden. The CIA sponsorship didn’t stop with the withdrawal of Soviet forces from Afghanistan, but the role of these clandestine “freedom fighters” would change. After the fall of the Soviet Empire, the CIA, which had thrived under the aspics of the “red scare”, now found itself without an enemy. In-order to justify its existence, the rogue CIA — needed a new enemy. One would be created.[xxi] [xxii] [xxiii] [xxiv] [xxv]
Only with an antagonist, could the CIA justify its enormous budget and large worldwide presence (that it was profiting from). Thus, it was the United States’ very own CIA, under the direction of the neocons and the Bushes that ushered in the new “War on Terror”.
This financing ring was exposed shortly after 9/11 by the Times of India, they reported that Pakistan’s ISI chief Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad was in Washington during September 4th to 15th, 2001 and met George Tenet, Richard Armitage, Porter Goss (who later heads the CIA), and Bob Graham, who is chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. While, Pakistani Ahmad Umar Sheikh at the instance of Gen. Mahmoud had just wired $100,000 to hijacker Mohammed Atta before the 9/11 attacks.162
As far as the link between the hijackers and the ISI, it should be understood that Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad the head of the ISI was a “US approved appointee”. As head of the ISI, he was in liaison with his US counterparts in the CIA and the Pentagon’s Defence Intelligence Agency. [xxvi] [xxvii]
Why are these supposed hijackers of Flight 77 still ALIVE?
Altogether, there are seven of nineteen hijackers reported to be alive. They were “outraged” to be identified as terrorists. These men — all from Saudi Arabia — spoke of their shock at being mistakenly named by the FBI as suicide terrorists. None of the men were in the United States on September 11 — they were living in Saudi Arabia. The Telegraph obtained the first interviews with these men since they learnt that they were on the FBI’s list of hijackers who died in the crashes in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
Here are two that were on Flight 77:
Khalid Almihdhar – Saudi national, possible resident of San Diego, CA and New York. “...suspect, Khalid Al-Mihdhar, may also be alive.” Arab newspapers report he is still alive.[xxviii]
Salem Alhazmi – Saudi national, “Mr Al-Hamzi is 26, and had just returned to work at a petrochemical complex in the industrial eastern city of Yanbou after a holiday in Saudi Arabia when the hijackers struck. He was accused of hijacking the American Airlines Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon.” He said: “I have never been to the United States and have not been out of Saudi Arabia in the past two years.”[xxix]
